Good keyword researching tools - Bremaine - 12-16-2013

Do you guys know of any promising keyword researching programs/sites I should check out? I am thinking about creating a gaming/movie/tv/music site and I need a tool that'll help me find the best keywords around. Is there anything like that out there?

Once upon a time there were many free keyword tools out there. Today I only use the tool provided by Google. It is called KeyWordPlanner and is an integrated part of AdWords. Sign up for an AdWords account and use this tool - it is actually a great tool to get started with. And it's free!

http://www.seobook.com has a simple free keywordtool. It displays numbers from both Google, Yahoo and Bing. The site is hard to navigate but AFTER you sign up use this link to the keywordtool.

All free keywordtools are very primitive. I think the AdWords tool is the best free one.

Bing has a beta that works some times. I hope they are going to make it better though. Lots of timeouts.

You need a Bing/hotmail account to use the tool: http://www.bing.com/toolbox/webmaster

Adwords has a pretty nice keywords tool which you should check out.

You basically type a few keywords in and it tells you how many searches it gets a month, its a great way to get that perfect domain which will rank well on Google.

I vote for AdWords' free keyword tool. It is good enough even some paid ones are better. Start with the AdWords tool and when you become rich go to one of the paid tools.
